新しいブラビア(Wedge)　その2　[sony] [編集]

こんばんは。

結局ブラビアの続きをやることにしました。~~シリーズより需要大きそうだし~~

この前の日曜日ソニーストアに行って、実機も見てきたんでその感想も書こうかと思います。

そうそう。

一週間くらい気付かなかったんですけど、Wedgeが採用されてるのって1シリーズ＝2機種だけなんですよ。

なんか残念ですね。もっとじゃんじゃん使えばいいのに。もったいない。

もっとも、他のモデルもデザインはいい方なんですけどね。やっぱりWedgeのインパクトには勝てませんよ。

前回はハードウェアデザインについて書いたので、今回はソフトウェアやUIについてです。

ハードウェア的なUIからです。

まず、Sense Of Quartzで採用されたイルミネーションLEDは引き続き採用されている、という話はこないだしました。

しかし、そのLEDがついているところ（コアと呼ばれていますね）は、ちょっと出っ張りが減りました。

今回のモデルチェンジでは、Wedgeを採用していないモデルも一緒に出たんですけど、それらもまとめてほとんど出っ張りが減っております。

ちょっと写真がないからアレなんですけど（ソニーのサイトで見てください）、ぼくは前くらい出っ張ってた方が好きだったかなぁ。

そして、もうひとつ大事なハードウェアUIの要素であるリモコンです。

今回のはこんなやつです。

また斬新でカッコいいのを出してきますねぇ、毎回。

この前のも本当に驚かされましたが↓、今回のはWedgeをリモコンでも表現してる感じですね。

これの時は採用しなかったタッチパッドも採用しています。

しかし、「俺はタッチパッド搭載なんだぜ！どうだ！」っていう主張がなく、さりげな〜く載ってる感じで好感が持てます。

・・・でも、こういうのって他の会社と比べないとよく分かんないんですよね。

ぼくがどれだけ必死によさを訴えても、うちの母とか妹とかは「あ・・・、うん。そうなんだよかったね」で終わってしまいますから。

そこで今回はパナソニックのやつと比べてみましょう。

なぜパナソニックかというと、今のところパナソニックとソニーくらいしかタッチパッドリモコンを採用してないかたです。

それではパナソニックの最新・最上位機種に付属しているリモコンをどうぞ。

ここから先はパナソニック好きな人は読まないでね！

・・・どうです？

え？どっちがいいのかよく分からないって？

そんな人たちのために、今からこのリモコンをかなり否定します。

なぜなら、ここはソニーをほめる場所だからです。そして完全にritの主観です。

ではいきます。

まずツヤツヤしてるとこがダメです。

ツヤツヤしているのは目立ちます。あなたはリモコンに目立ってほしいですか？

リモコンっていうのは机とかの上にいつも置かれるものなんだから、そこに調和しないといけないんですよ。そんな目立ってたら、リビングがどんどん視覚的にごちゃごちゃ、うるさくなっていきます。

誰も、自分の部屋の美観を損ねさせたいと思っている人なんていません。

その観点からいくと、ブラビアの方はマットな素材でできていて、リビングになじみます。

それに、光沢仕上げっていうのは、プリントしてある文字とかが消えやすいんですよ。

パナソニックの方には触ってわかるような突起とかがないので、長く使って文字やアイコンが消えたら絶対に意味わかんなくなります。

ソニーのやつはマットだから消えにくいし、消えたとしても+/-キーとかわかりやすい凹凸がついているので、一応使えるのではないでしょうか。

まあ、汚れがつきやすいっていうのはあるかもしれないけど。

そして、パナソニックの方にはタッチパッドの周りにメッキのリングがついているのもダメです。

目立つのもダメだし、新機能をやたらとアピールしたがるのがとてもダメです。

新機能っていうのは、今でこそ新しいですが、しばらく時間が経てば当たり前になるんですよ。

そうなった時に、その機能をアピールしてるのって、痛々しいと思いません？

たとえば、「タッチパネルが売りのスマホ」なんて、すっごく悲しいじゃないですか。

ぼくがブラビアのリモコンが好きなのはそこです。飾り気がなくて、シンプルなんです。

それでいて、デザイン上のアクセントも入れています。今回の場合、それは形です。

ただの四角、っていうリモコンの常識を破ったんですよ。しかも程よく。

パナソニックのリモコンも、1つ前の世代にはびっくりするような形のものがありました。

これです↓

たまごの崩れたような形です。

いや、チャレンジ精神としてはいいし、飾りもそうたくさんあるわけではないけど、なんか・・・。

その、「らくらくスマートフォン」的な、丸みを帯び過ぎててなんか違う感じがするんですよ。

積極的に、リビングに置こうとは思いませんよね。

しかも、テレビの画面はたいてい黒いのに、わざわざリモコンを白にする必要があったのでしょうか。

統一感が失われますよね。

さらに言うと、

ボリュームキーが+と-なのにチャンネルキーと揃っていないのは変。
アイコンを多用しているだけで、何を意味しているのか分かりにくい。特に新しい方の右下のボタン。
2つとも、前にマイクの穴がぷつぷつ空いていて汚い。

とかですね。

特にアイコンの問題は切実ですよ。黒いやつ、タッチパッドの左上がメニューキーだとしたら一番右下は本当に何なのでしょうか。これなら文字の方がマシです。

・・・はっ！

リモコンに時間を取られすぎて書こうと思ってたこと全然書けませんでした。

次回はとりあえずシリーズやって、その次で終わらせたいと思います。

リッキーが本気出し始めました。本気を小分けにして出せばいいのに。
